Because we are receiving an increasing number of inquiries for a garden plant, we are now cultivating a specific variety that is suitable for gardens and pots and that has an impressive display of flowers from September through to December .

Flannel flowers are easy to grow, and can be grown in coastal as well as inland areas, such as the Southern Tablelands where our business is located.

We currently have mature plants available (such as pictured above, in full Spring /Summer flower). This variety is not available from other wholesale growers. It can tolerate light frost and heat. Plants are also sold in Spring through retail nurseries in tubestock or 140 mm pots.

Flannels require protection from wind and heavy frosts, prefer a shady position, and do extremely well in a container on a verandah, or in a courtyard or balcony, or in a protected position in the garden.
