flannel flower – a cut flower. The Flannel flower has become increasingly popular as a cut-flower for obvious reasons – it is a strikingly beautiful flower, and it has a vase life of 2 – 3 weeks. Florists use it as a filler flower in bouquets, or as feature flowers in mixed floral arrangements. They also sell Flannels as bunches on their own.

In Japan, the flower is very popular, both as a long stemmed, or as a short stemmed flower. Other countries are showing a growing interest in this iconic Australian flower.

At Backcreek Country, we grow all Flannel flowers under protected cultivation. We have two very large greenhouses and these give protection to the plants from winds, rain and storms.

We specialise in growing a premium cultivar of flannel flowers with long straight stems and large brilliant white flowers. Our clients actively acknowledge and appreciate the high quality of our flowers.

70-80cm,
